I'm confused. Why is it that when you go to the member list, it only says 653?

You do realize where 666 comes from and what it means?

The ancient Hebrew language had no numbering system. Therefore, Hebrew letters were used to represent numbers. Thus, the letters representing the words "Caesar Nero Augustus" in Hebrew is the same combination of characters that is "666". The Beast in the "Mark of the Beast" is Nero. And, course, the Beast was conquered and Rome (referred to as Babylon in the book of Revelation) was destroyed.

The more you know...

I believe... and may be wrong, that that is because the counter goes along happily - but if folks get deleted, I'm not sure if it backs the counter down, and I had a few people that got lost, and I combined two of my alter ego's into one... and one guy spelled his name wrong, made a new one, and asked me to delete the other... etc.

Maybe Larry has had to kick off a couple dozen members already? :smilie39:

Naw, more likely it was the crossover that created duplicates that were later deleted. There was a member earlier today who made a typo in his username, signed up under another name, then asked for the original account to be deleted. Probably stuff like that.

Edited to add: I see Larry beat me to the punch.

Wasn't it an Iron Maiden song?! Or they both have one?

Anyhow!

My bad. Iron Maiden "Number of the Beast"
Motley Crue "Shout at the Devil"
