I just bought this exact BCD and used it this last weekend. The fit was great (I didn't have to deal with the tank roll I usually have) and though it took a little while to remember exactly where the inflation/deflation lever was it worked great. It has an adjustment system inside to make it looser or tighter. Lots of cool pockets to store your things in. The only suggestion I have is to make sure that the hose that goes from the reg to the inflator outlet is long enough. Mine is fine but another person I was diving with this weekend also had a new BC with the i3 system and her hose was really too short. It kind of pulled her BC up on that side.

I am a female Canadian diver as well. I have looked at this particular bcd. My concern with this bcd on looking at the lever is add 5mm or dry gloves and is the lever manageable? My first impression was "no", not comfortable with the thickness of gloves I wear. It would be a great temperate/warm water bcd and in that circumstance, I would have one in a heart beat.

One of our instructors uses the Aqua Lung Divi, which is the other BC made for women by Aqua Lung and really likes it. Not sure about the i3 as I have never dived it or know anyone who has.

I can't say for sure on any of the above as I wore my Aqualung pearl with a 3/2 and no gloves. At first I did keep looking for the lever in the wrong place (closer to the closure of the BC). It is close to the bottom and more to the side. After a while, you get used to where it is, just like all of your equipment.
