Here's a collection of different fishes willing to stare down the old camera lens - some of my favorites from this last trip to Indonesia. A really amazing variety of life there, already feeling the need for another trip:smiley20:

I have lots of those too:smiley29:

My advantage is - I took almost 2000 shots this last trip - so I can throw away 1500 and still have lots to play with:smiley20:

That shot of the percula clown just about made me cry :). I know there are other fish in the ocean, but all I've ever wanted to do is see clowns in their natural enviroment. Awesome shots as usal! Did you shoot them with the 60 or the 100?

Get ready, you'll see a ton of clowns in PNG (when do you leave?):smiley20:

I must have 500 shots of the little guys (and gals I guess LOL) - there really is something almost magical about them. Even though they are everywhere in the Indo-Pacific, it is almost impossible to swim by without snapping a couple frames for good measure:smiley2: And I admire their spunk - when they've had enough, they aren't afraid to get in your face (the black and white Panda anenome fish will bite the hell out of you, BTW). All the pictures above are with the 60, except the Porcelain crab feeding, that is the 100.

Here are a few more "clowns" to whet your appetite:

JCAT - with your setup I would take a hard look at the Inon D2000.

JCAT
08-05-2008, 16:32
I'm looking at the Inon as well. Allow me to whine about how much the major brands and models cost....I guess the strobe price doesn't bother me as much as the arms do...my goodness!!

Well, I need to decide in the next day or two, but it's hard.

..sigh

dbh
08-06-2008, 17:10
Yes, but both strobe and arms should last MANY years and are adaptable when you upgrade camera & housings.

I am still using the ULCS arms that I bought in 2003 (on my 5th housing since then) and second set of strobes (I upgraded from Inon Z220's to Z240's for their s-ttl capabilities). I don't plan on parting with my Z240's anytime soon.
