I say we petition Larry for a more suitable title for 4,000 posts.

Like "Supreme Catfish" or something else catchy. :D

Dive for 20 years, discover online forums, and get a desk job where you can multitask and surf scuba sites for 6 hours per day (I gotta focus on work occasionally!). :smiley2:

On Married...with Children, Bud chose his hip-hop alias Grand Master B (sometimes referred to as Grand Bastard B); is this similar?

Yea, I live in the country, funny thing is yahoo has high speed cable 200 yards down the road but won't run it down my road. And I'm to cheap to pay $50 a month for satilite

In the rural areas it's sometimes impossible to get DSL and so dial up is the way to go if satellite isn't available.

It does take a lot of work to get where he is, or should I say a lot of no work?:smiley36:

I'm impressed with the 500+ posts that ertechsg has made with dial up!!

It's not that hard to make posts with dialup. The site doesn't have a heavy graphic content so it's usable IMO. At any rate it's a fun site to visit.

I'm impressed that most of his posts are meaningful, with good information (at least from what I can tell- I'm pretty new to this).
Some folks with high post counts are "me too" or don't add value to the thread.

Wait, didn't I just do the same thing?

Never mind.

LOL. No, that is the Dude himself. He does not type all the time. He really dives too.

I think there is a bug in the system somewhere. He gets 10 points for each post he makes. Geez.

Congrats!

I don't have much of that particular rig left, but yes, that's me, and I do dive. :)

I try to squeeze in around 100 dives per year, which is about all that work, funds, health and wife(!) permit. Sad to say I'm definitely low for 2008, but I'm going to try to catch up in this second half of the year.

Hey Comp,

First of all, congrats!

Secondly, like someone else previously mentioned, you're posts are always interesting and meaningful, and I always look forward to what you have to say while I'm waiting for my sluggish satellite connection to load the page.

Cheers!

Be afraid,.........be very, very afraid,....this is my 95th post!
