View Full Version : Sevicing Zeagle Brigade in Australia

I am really interested in buying the Zeagle Brigade from ST. But I am worrying that in Australia, especially South Australia I won't be able to get it regularly serviced or go for warranty if anything happens. Does anyone have any experience for that?

Well, couple of things... it needs virtually no service. There is nothing on a BC that is really propritory like in regs. It's not like you need special seats, o-rings, etc.

The only real warranty issues are if something comes apart - like a seam breaks or something.... and we have had zero returns for warranty issues like that... and if they did - they would have to get back to the factory for fixing - but the good news is zeagle BCs are component made. What that means is the shoulders are a different piece than the cummerbund, with is different from the bladder, tank strap, waist panel, etc...

So if something happened and your shoulders failed some how (and you would be the first), we could just ship you a new set of shoulders, and it's just a few minutes to remove the old and replace with the new.

The only other thing that ever really needs service - is power inflator ends - which are really virtually the same on all BCs - so any service shop could set you up with a service on that.

I also have some friends in Australia that will handle any warranty or service issues for any item from us - and if they have to replace a part, or repair something under warranty - we just overnight them any parts they don't have and work it out with them.

That goes for regs, bc's - whatever.

Shoot me a PM if you have any questions!

Don't forget that we have a Zeagle distributor in Australia.

Chriso, who runs the business, provides excellent service. I'm sure that even though you are buying the BCD from the US, he will service it regardless.
I can't recommend Chriso enough, he's gone above and beyond the call for me several times.

thanks for the reply guys.

For Chris' shop, I really like but it's too far away from where I live. That's the thing that is really inconvenient.

Larry, could you pls let me know that if there's anyone who can service/warranty those equipment in Adelaide, South Australia? Some local dive shops are reluctant to provide services/warranty for the items brought from overseas here

You just post the BCD to him
I do it with my regs
