I heard through a local diver that there are freshwater jellyfish in Medina Lake. Have any of you guys (or gals) ever come across jellyfish while diving Texas lakes?

I found some information regarding this;

I have seen them in Lake Travis. I didn't see any last year, but did the year before. They will be in the warmer layers of water towards the surface. I have never seen them below the thermocline. Somewhere I have a picture of one on a 35mm slide.
