Joe set up a custom package for me, and told me to contact him when I was ready to purchase... I am, but he didn't respond to my PM. What's the best way, call the store and ask for Joe?

He always says to give him a call. Just ask ask for that guy that lives in the cave in the back of the store. Have you gone to the in store camera. If not focus in on the sign above his door. Funny.

I ordered my package through PM with Joe. It took him an extra day to get back with me. I would call him.

Joe doesn't spend as much time as Larry on the Board so either e-mail or call you can even call while watching on the web cam then you feel like you are there.:smiley20:

Haha, Yeah I am finally using all my fingers but I'm still working on my speed. Also for some reason I tend to use my left index occasionally to hit keys on the far right of the board.

I know what you mean these guys are the best. Started this small project to get my wife set up to start diving and managed to replace most of my equipment at the same time.

I'd just add that Joe was very responsive via email (info@scubatoys.com) and quoted a great deal on a custom package. Completely reinforced my view that I want to do business with ST whenever I'm in the market for gear -- I'll be back soon for a custom package for my wife, perhaps a drysuit soon, and I'll certainly enthusiastically refer friends and colleagues to ST. Great consumer experience!

I had ordered my gear. Joe gave me a killer deal I couldn't say no to. I should have my gear next wk sometime. They are waiting for one thing to come in. Than it will be shipped. I can't wait..

I have a feeling, just a feeling mind you that Joe has a life. Or maybe he was in the bathroom.

Most of my business with these guys has been over the phone with one exchange I had to make and Joe handled it via E-mail. Keep the faith. They have provided me me with nothing less than exemplary service.

Yup. I have actually been a satisfied customer for a long time -- but the thing is that my wife and I had only ever ordered doo-dads and knick-knacks. Now actually plunking down real money for real equipment, on a fully-customized package, and getting the sort of responsiveness and deal economics that ST offered was really a step above and beyond. I now much better understand why there are such enthusiastic ST fans around the world.

What amazes me when I started e-mailing ST for pricing. Joe was there replying. But, the thing was he was on vacation and was taking his time away from his family responding to my e-mails. To me that shows his love of his job and his dedication to his customers. I don't think I have ever really seen that with anyone who owns a business..
