Okay folks, here we go.

It's a good old fashion role call. Please leave your name/handle, area, and a brief hello/intro.

I guess I get to start,

Outside Victoria, just starting to enjoy the cool west coast diving.

Storm, who do you dive through in Ottawa? I just moved out to the west coast this past winter.

Unfortuantely mostly quarry/river diving but after making my first dives in Tobermory got me hooked on that area quick.

As verbose as ever Ted. When's the next time you're doing check outs in Prescott? Thought I might drop by, say hey and maybe take some photos.
(Yes I'll stop and get Timbits.)

BTW how's Dave doing?

Vancouver BC here. Best diving IMHO. However, I learned in Ontario, and the wrecks there can't be beat.

Sudsy, I am in Thunder Bay....Born and raised! But have travelled the world in search of that perfect palm tree....did a 12yr stint in southern Ontario..You can take the boy out of the north, but you can't take the north out of the boy....
Fishing, hunting and diving....what a life....

Howdy Free2Air. Where did you live in southern ontario? I lived in the Chatham area and the London area.

Jeff from the place all other Canadians love...

I'm a newbie diver and I've only gone diving in tropical climes (my wife and I are fairly wimpy) - Philippines, Costa Rica, and Bonaire. I'd consider diving in Ontario, but I'd probably have to find a new diving buddy as I doubt my wife would join me...

Can't say best in Canada, cause I haven't been wet in any other provinces; but better, if colder, than some Carib. spots.

BTW how's Dave doing?Yep, I have done a few, but do need a break from that. Not much diving this year so far. Business has been good, so the time is just not there. Gotta do stuff around the house too.

Dave? I think you might mean diver_daver if he is the same guy I am thinking about.

Mainly dive off the lower mainland coast.. have done a few dives off seachelt (further up the b.c coast) , and I have done a couple warm water dives off of the island of o'ahu in hawaii.

I've been O/W for 7 years and AOW for 4 years... but haven't logged that many dives (school and working weekends and evenings.. not much chance to get out).. now that i'm finished school I'll be going diving each week hopefully and I'm signed up for my Rescue course next month.
