I believe I will be out there that weekend. Where do you plan to park and dive from?

I think we're going to park down by the plane area, didn't get to see that last time- was too far from where we were last time.

The new boat is about 100 feet or so from the other cabin cruiser in line with shark. It is only about 25' deep.

I'll be there, camping Friday night. I'm all in for a night dive. Let me know where you guys want to meet, I plan on setting up in the shady area before the ST pavilion. I believe Chief Brody will also be there.

Look forward to meeting ya'll.

This past Saturday, I asked an employee (not Robert) where the new boat was and all he could say was "south of the old boat". We searched. Turns out it is NOT directly south.

I'll be taking a charcoal grill, dogs and patties for any and all, or feel free to bring your own and cook it up. I'll be in a silver toyota tacoma.

From the bow of the old boat which is marked by the pinkish buoy follow a heading of 210 degrees, an easy swim to the stern of the new boat which has no marker buoy at present.

Nice to meet a few new folks as well, Mike from Kansas (as we were leaving), met Rick (Vercingetorix) and a young lady named Deborah, met Ken and Toni (Khall69); overall was a super day!

Well was gonna meat up with Loud and from his discussion that'll be right outside of circle of knowledge (for those truly familiar with the swampers). For those not so familiar east side over near the shade trees before you get up to the ST pavilion.

It was good to meet you, too (I'm Deborah in real life). Congrats on finding the boat! I got to see Ken and Toni again and Rick whipped me into shape with navigation - I'm learning how to swim squares!

Anyone know what the blue buoy marks? We went down to about 35 feet and didn't see anything. I'm a wuss with cold so that was about all I could handle.

:smiley20:
Spot on......and if you blow past it (like we did) do a reciprocal heading of 30 degrees and you'll for sure hit it.....almost literally like we did.....I was so engrossed in watching the compass I literally came with in a foot of head-butting the bow

Blue bouy marks the silo, the deepest part in the lake.
