Yes, ALL you folks helped. I started at 218# and after weigh in this am. ******* 199# *********. My goal is 190 but, I haven't been under 200# in Y E A R S .....

Awesome job it feels good when all the hard work finally pays off. I am trying to get my weight down too. I am going start the 100 push up program today to increase my strength.

I haven't started any strength work outs yet but, soon. I do allot of walking and cut out 95% of the foods that are bad.

It seems like when you start to see results, you or I should say I, get allot more willpower cause I know, over the last month I almost lost it a few times.

Then after I reach my goal I plan on then monitoring it and eating right. Hopefully I can stay at my goal weight...

I have been a junk food junkie most of my life and it TOUGH to cut it out...

congratulations. once you reach your target weight and start improving your strength and fitness, you will realize the amount of work it takes and will automatically start to avoid junk foods.

I lost 60 pounds over a period of 3 years. I used to eat a lot of junk foods before, but now I cannot have them even if it is placed in front of me. Ofcourse, I do enjoy myself with icecream and stuff, but you tend to become more conscious and cautious...

if you keep continuing on your present course, you dont have to worry about your eating habits. they will change for the better.

My wife says I'm getting ridiculus now, I won't eat any sweets or "wrong" food. She says I have to live a little, I tell her that is why I won't. I feel better and have a bit more energy and I'm sure its got to be helping my cholesterol too. I give myself a treat once and awhile, I'm sure you see it on TV, those Key Lime 100 cal yogurts, there darn good...

I am starting to find that its getting easier as time passes, fighting the cravings that is, and, not really sure its good or not but, I do reward myself once and awhile or I should say once a week.

Great job! I've lost 16 LBS over the past 6 weeks. I'm down to 210 and can't wait to be under 200. It's been years for me also. It's like night and day with just being down 16 LBS. The Key Lime yogurts are great....

I missed the initial posting, but congratulations! I'm fighting to lose weight right now. I've already lost a lot, but I'm still not where I want to be. You are right about getting more motivated once you start to see results.

I just wish I could avoid dates. I love those things and I can get them every day now since it's ramadan. As a matter of fact, I have a box of them sitting right here from dinner tonight. I just need to stretch them out over a few days.
