A small hand towel, if anything. Just enough to wipe the face.

I use a regular towel. I've used those types of towels in the past while hiking but never diving or swimming.

I'm just not that excited about towels, unless they're for my car. Only microfiber towels for the car. For diving, I never remember to bring one.

Now that is the most complicated eBay ad I've ever seen. They really want to sell you this towel. I agree with the dome, howeve. If I do remember, it's a random beach towel. Now if I could find one with a pinup on it.

I bring a plain beach towel. I've considered those microfibre (???) towels but I like my big one.

On the boat dives I've done, I haven't brought a towel... I like being wet during surface intervals to keep my cool in the heat, and by the time we get back to the dock after diving I'm dry. However, I just use a regular towel when diving springs.

I don't.
I believe they are an entanglement hazrd and they increase drag. Very difficult to stow.
I do however keep a bath towel in my dry bag back on the boat.:smiley36:

At home, we have a cupboard with some old towels in it. Towels with ratty edges, etc. I usually grab one on my way out. I also usually forget about it....and don't usually need it until I'm getting into the car. The face is usually dry after the walk back to the car from the spring.

I'm with some of the others.. I always forget to bring a towel. On those rare occassions that I remember one, I don't use it much unless for some reason I need a quick pat down before I get into the car.

I take a regular bath towel when I'm going to the quarry, for a salt water boat dive I put a microfiber towel in a gallon size zip-lock and stow it in my mesh bag.

I sell these for drying cars..My wife and I each take one when we dive..Is it pricey? sure, but it's smaller than a regular towel and will dry about what 2 beach towels will...If anybody is interested pm me and I'll hook you up with a good price..

Same here for salt-water boat dives - that salt water gets a little sticky when it dries on the face. I'll just take a regular-sized bath towel for local dives, though. I hate having to drive a car while wet.

I dive dry. I don't need a towel.

Towel? What's that?

I usually just dry myself off using my wife's dry clothes. I always tell her that a big wave hit the side of the boat and soaked all of our stuff.

I generally bring a small towel, if I bring one at all. I also dive dry, so there's very little to dry off at the end of a dive. If I were bringing one though, I'd just bring a regular beach towel. Nothing special.
