Hey all! I'm back diving... again... I'd like to invite everyone to ABWA (http://www.divealabama.com) and get a bunch of dives in.

I'm sure we could get four to five dives in and possibly a night dive on Saturday. (We need ten to commit to get to night dive. (10.00 extra for the night dive.)) I plan to get two for sure and maybe a third dive in before I head back to Jackson on Sunday.

I know one buddy will be there with a class and a DM candidate and I might be able to talk another buddy into coming. If no one else comes, I've donated myself as a "body" for the rescue class. :)

I'll be leaving Jackson around 4AM to make it in time for ABWA (http://www.divealabama.com) to open. (9AM) If anyone needs a ride and lives on I-20, PM me and I can pick you up (up to two people) or you can follow me through.

So post in here if you can make it or PM me.

The wife and I visited this place yesterday and got two dives in. We met the owner and he was real nice. I got the feeling he was honestly glad to see us and wanted us to have a good time.
We plan on going back Sept 17 and again in Oct. It was about 2 hours 10 minutes from Atlanta.

Once again 2 thumbs up for this location.

Top notch people. It's my favorite place to go. :) (It's also the closest and cheapest. :P)

Not sure Mike. They seemed to be keeping up with progress on their site but, no new updates for awhile now.

Talking with Wayne, he said they were days away from building inspections and then they will start the electrical, plimbing and sheetrock. They had a crew there yesterday doing shingles. I have never shingled a dome and it was interesting to watch. Each section of the dome has to be shingled like a roof, and then tied in with the other "roofs" that is shares a boarder with. A very slow process, glad I had a wet suit on!! Wayne said they were doing alot of the work in-house and if he was ever in that situation again he would get a bid on a turn-key installation. From what I could see it is going to be a very nice operation when its all done.
