View Full Version : Weird underwater creature

This summer I was diving beside a rock wall near some docks and I found this little creature under water. It looked like a spider/walking stick type of bug. It was really weird it was all legs with no real body and it could flip over and walk on either side. I have tried to look it up and can't find it. Does anyone know what it could be? I am just curious.

Sorry Carrie. We need more information. Was it salt water or fresh? What part of the world were you diving? How big/little was it? How many legs?

It was the coast of North Carolina. It had 8 legs like a spider. ???

Thanks for the help...it is probably a close relative to that little crab. It looked a lot like it except it didn't have a middle part at all. Just all legs. Maybe it was on a diet and had just lost some weight.:smiley36:
