you guys all hit the nail on the head. I listened once and it was boring as hell. never tried again.

now... we can't of all listened to the same boring episode, so they've gotta all be that bad.

I listened to it for about a year, just becuase it was SOMETHING about scuba. In the end, I finally got tired of the stupid adolescent jokes, and all the non-scuba talk and "warm water wuss" talk. For crying out loud, go do a real dive man!

You might check out bottom time radio, not a polished work, but at least they have some decent scuba talk.

It'd be cool if someone started a good SCUBA podcast. Think ST would do something like that?

as an alternative, Scuba Diving magazine had a TV show that used to come on saturday mid day.

it was a pretty bad quality production, but it was something about diving. I tried to watch them if I could (this was before TIVO).

anyway, I'd like to see another scuba TV show.

I don't want to have to listen to a bunch of people talk bobble-head about it. (That's what I hate about all our local channels. All talk & advertising or pushing some product they claim to have bought and no music. It's why I listen to satellite radio now instead of regular radio).

I got the pod casts for bottom time & scubaradio.

scubaradio reminds me of the bad saturday/sunday early am radio that they hide all of the crap network ads that have to air.

I used to download "Bottom Time Radio" for those long flights, when I was traveling a lot. However, unless I'm missing something, they haven't posted a new show since 10/11/2006.

... has both: Bottom Time Radio is only through 10/10/06 and Pod Diver Radio is current (last episode posted from last week).

BTR may be current, but they don't upload to iTunes anymore.

I listen to SB radio basically because is something about diving, I was unaware there were other pod cast out there, but I'm sure glad there are more choices.

Didn't do anything for me. The main announcer sounded liked he liked hearing himself talk more than diving. I'd listen to a show the got in depth and maybe taught you something.

Has anyone watched Divers Down. It used to play on the water channel, which no longer exists, on Dish Network. I watched it all the time, even though the guy who did it was insanely monotone.

Naw...... boring I gave it a try couple times, but all he was talking about how some hot model that was with her in studio and him training her to dive.

It is TOTALLY LAME!!!! However, Pod Diver is amazing. I have downloaded EVERY old episode and listened to them all. I highly recommend it. It is the only one I have found that is really worth listening to.

One note, it is poddiver.net NOT poddiver.com

I downloaded the last three episodes from pod diver; I have to say I wasn't all that impressed; they seem to have the same format as scuba radio, just a little less obnoxious

I thought I'd found a gold mine when I discovered Scuba Radio. downloaded the back broadcasts and listened at my desk at work but I quickly burned out on all the juvenile patter and Double-entendres. However, I fond I kept going back to it. As silly as it was, it was so animated I found I enjoyed listening while I I was on the road, it keeps me awake.

Scuba Radio used to have some good info a few years ago...but lately is just full of stupid jokes.
