2 videos from our USVI trip. Just a few scuba shots, but I thought I'd post it just in case someone is considering this place for a vacation.
We had some friends who had never been to the VI so we wanted to show them what they're missing. I had over 5 days of video and couldn't fit everything in, but I think it gets the point across.

Oh yeah...SpongeBob is a funny inside joke. We always thought they were saying "SpongeBob" in the song, so I thought it was a funny subliminal message. :smiley36:

Also the videos will only play in HD on Vimeo. So click on the link to see the video in HD and full screen. They look WAY better in HD
And yes it might take a little while to buffer and download before you watch it. So pause it for a little bit once it starts so it can download.

St. Nanners on Vimeo (http://www.vimeo.com/2209461)

Virgin Gorda the Baths on Vimeo (http://www.vimeo.com/2217857)

enjoy!

Nice!
We honeymooned St John 6 years ago Late October/Early Nov .Thanks for bringing back such great memories!

We didn't scuba but did a lot of snorkling off shore and boat... wife never snorkled before but loved it, couldn't get her out of the water!

Still trying to convince her how cool scuba is.. maybe someday we will get her certified...

We definetly going back... where did you stay?

HAHA! Thanks... I'm no Steven Speilberg but I try to make it interesting and fun to watch. And HD makes a big difference in clarity, versus some of the videos you might see on YouTube or something.

The Camera is a Sony FX1. And, it was edited on a PC with Sony Vegas Pro 8.

I'm excited because we're going back on December 17th for awhile. And I hope to get some more footage. :smiley20:

We're actually moving there in next Sept....but that's another story :smiley2:

Very cool videos! I love the rock formations on the second video. When you see things like, it really puts you in place, as far as understand how small you are compared to the world. It helps you understand how much creation is all around you; I'm sure it was an inspiring experience being there in person. I've always dreamed of going to places like that, and hopefully one day I'll be as fortunate. Until then, keep posting the videos!
