Here is a series of shots of the B-25 Mitchell Bomber called the "Green Dragon" which crashed north of Madang, PNG from my recent trip there

The one in the bum (50cal)

The wreck is still in great condition for 65 years of age. I wished i looked this good at 65.

This is a link I found about the wreck and the fate of its crew. B-25D-1 "Green Dragon" Serial Number 41-30118 (http://www.pacificwrecks.com/aircraft/b-25/41-30118.html)

It was interesting to learn more about what happened up in PNg during WWII as my Grandfather served up there in the Australian Army. Not much was ever told by them when they returned.

Cheers Aussie

Very nice. It is especially nice to dive spots like that when you have more than just a passing interest.

editorial comment.

How the United States protected Japanese war criminals (http://www.users.bigpond.com/battleforAustralia/JapWarCrimes/USWarCrime_Coverup.html)

And that's all I have to say about that.
