The internet is fairly anonymous, but one way that you can tell how old someone is, is to ask, "What role do you think Lee Majors will be best remembered for?"

I've assembled the following guidelines:

Heath Barkley: 51 or older

Colonel Steve Austin: 36 - 50

Colt Seavers: 28 - 35

Was he that guy in that episode of Family Guy, where Peter got in trouble for sexual harrassment?: 27 or younger

These are only guidelines, not hard-and-fast rules like wetsuit sizing charts.

I would have thought the answer was Farrah

It would be what I would want to be remembered for!

Alas, I couldn't post the other photos, this being a family forum and all. :smiley2:

Here's a joke that you may not have heard for awhile.

He is the guy doing the commercials for the rechargeble hearing aide. Ya see he was the Six Million Dollar (bionic) Man. So now he is selling a Bionic Hearing (ear) aide.

You could not build him today for $6M.

I recall all the shows he was in, but I happen to think the most popular and therefore well known was the Six Million Dollar Man. It was a great show IMO, and it was too bad they didn't have Farrah wasn't on it as it'd still be on tv. I might be the only viewer though.

Ahh, the good ole days.

I know him as Col. Steve Austin and Colt Seavers, I was aware that he was on Big Valley but never saw it. I didn't know about his Family Guy appearance though. He was also on Weeds last season as the Minute-man Leader.

I'll be 42 in January.

The scary thing is I remember him in all the roles. I voted Steve Austin due to that wsa his biggest role. However, the only wasy I knew him on The Big Valley was from afternoon reruns.

Was Heath's last name Barkley? I know Nick, Jarrod and Audra were true Barkleys- but wasn't Heath their half-brother?

EDIT - It was Thompson - had to go look it up.

Tom (Barkley) was Heath's dad. Makes Heath a Barkley.

Victoria was pretty cool about it if you ask me.

Audra, she could care less. She was always coming out of her bath and was a space case.

He may be known for anumbers of acting roles, but sadly, I will always remember him as a jerk and an ass. He came to my town a few years ago for Grand National Quail Hunt. He ended up killing a deer (no license, tag, out of season, and COMPLETELY not the reason he was there) and then left it to rot. He was also a complete jerk to everyone. Apparently egos live a lot longer than TV series do.

For some reason, the pilot episode of 'The Big Valley' was on TV a few months ago. Heath didn't reveal his true identity until toward the end. Audra kept trying to seduce him throughout the episode, and he kept rebuffing her advances and calling her nasty names.

What's with Victoria getting conked on the head every episode? She must have had more concussions than Mannix.

I remember Lee Majors in reruns of Big Valley and as the Fall Guy, but I remember many nights of watching the 6 million $ man and the bionic woman when I was in elementary school--so yeah I fall in the appropriate age group.

I only remember Steve Austin. I'm 30 and have no clue who the others are. I bearly remember Fall Guy.

Mannix?

He was a great investigator. Each episode, he'd ask around until someone bashed him on the head. After coming to on his sofa, with the assistance of his secretary, he'd know that he was getting close.

Oops. I guess that I'm showing my age again. After all, I'm one of the two Big Valley votes.

My first memory of Lee Majors was as the Six Million Dollar Man and I loved that show. I also remember him as Colt from his 80s TV show as well as his days on the Big Valley thanks to re-runs.

Even as a kid I could not get my head around the fact that the $6m man had engineering defects.

He had bionic legs and one bionic arm. When he would lift up a car, why didn't his back break? If he had a bionic spine, I would have been content with the mechanics.

P.S. Firediver, your new avitar creeps me out!

Keep in mind, Steve was rebuilt by the federal government.

The contract went to the lowest bidder.

"Yeah sure Mista' Goldman, I'll hire some day laborers, recycle some parts from surplus earth-movin' equipment, bing-bang-boom, we bring your binocular man in for under five million."

Hehe...a jerk of another kind (I remember him when he served as Bacchus King of Carnival, er, wine, when I was living in New Orleans. He was a baadddd boy. Rude to everyone. John Goodman was the best Bacchus by far...)

And yes, I am a Star Trek Fan (shut up. I have a life. I think.)

I loved the 6M dollar man. I even had the cool doll that came with the engine block, and the fake skin that you could peel away to reveal all of the bionics. GI Joe didn't know what hit him when Col. Austin came along. And let's not forget the Bionic dog- max-a-million

I think you need to up the age for Heath. I am 52 and had to google the name to find he was on "The Big Valley." Show ran until 1969 when I was 13. I was probably still watching reruns of "Sea Hunt."

I've been away for a bit, and looking among the threads, I see this!!!! I remember this poster from back in the days of old. I think every male in the US had a 'crush': ) for Farah. Thanks Larry!

I'm 45, so I watched re-runs of the Big Vally, but was never a fan.
