I bough the cool "Z" cutter a few months ago. I strapped it on using the cheesy clip but it kept falling off. I tried zip ties but the cheesy plastic clip keeps coming off. The good news is the cutter stays in the sheath, the bad news I can't get a semi permanent mounting to my liking.

Anyone else have one of these Zeagle Line Cutter reviews and discounts, Zeagle (http://www.scubatoys.com/store/detail.asp?product_id=Zeagle_Line_cutter) and how did you get a good solid mount on your BC and still have it accessable?

I ran into the same problem. Zip ties did not work (except to securely tether the dangling sheath to my bc after it came loose)

I had the same problem, solved it by putting a small brass screw through the free end of the clip into the case then filed of the tip. Six months and still stuck fast.

That sounds like a solution to my problem. But...I am product of the government school system, can you post a picture? I am trying to mount it on a Zeagle Escape BC.

Hope the picture works, had to take it off webbing to take it, note the small screw head just visible.

Perfect, thank you. I like the tool not the cheesey sheath! Like Empacher mine ends up hanging by the zip ty after a few minutes in the water. Simple solutions for simple problems, I like it.

I have one like that also and didn't like it so I went with the Dive Rite one

I have the one all the way on the left. I put high on my shoulder strap and attach my whistle to the ring. I also bought the shears.
