REMEMBER THIS AT CHRISTMAS TIME

According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and
female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop
their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to
mid-December. Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give
birth in the spring.

Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's
reindeer, they all had antlers so...........EVERY single one of them, from
Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl.

We should've known... ONLY women would be able to drag a fat-axx man in a
red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.

Young male reindeer also keep their antlers through winter... I think it's safe to say it's more likely that young, male reindeer have the stamina needed to fly around the world, than female reindeer :smiley2:

:spyme:

LOL Very cool Kokomo.

Oh, have I ever mentioned my only child is a daughter? She will never be burdened or shackled by the stereotypes that were my childhood.

Strong person that is my Mom, would not permit toys such as vacuum cleaners, washing machines etc.

My daughter has kicked many a boy's ass. She surfs, skis, wakeboards and dives as well as the rest. Plays football, soccer and v-ball but is still a knock out at the school dances.

sorry. I digress. This IS the 21st century.

Surely you're joking!!!!

Santa's reindeer are all male, just watch "Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer" cartoon, flight school is for the males only! And cartoon is the key word here. All of the reindeer are fictitious, with ability to FLY! Antlers on male reindeer in the winter, that can fly and pull a sleigh, and go to every house in the world in two days and carry all the toys in one load, toys that happen to be the same as the ones in the store, but the elves made them. And all you find wrong with the story is the gender of the reindeer????

It turns out that in fact the flying reindeer that Santa uses are the males that keep their antlers, that is his sign that these special males are able to fly! The ones that shed their antlers are majority of males that can't fly, and they are sent to live herds with the rest of the normal reindeer in northern Eurpoe and Asia. Where scientists, unaware of the antlered flying males, have come to the incorrect conclusion that all males lose their antlers in the winter!
