I have old Dr Pepper bottles (fill). I developed a 'thing' for Dr Pepper when I was over there and when I returned I jumped on ebay and bought a whole lot. Got too expensive to ship so I stopped, but I still have the ones I bought.

I do collect dragons and turtles. Dragons .... I just like them. Same can be said for turtles too, but I really do have turtles as pets so you can blame them for starting me on that one.

I'm not sure if it's a hobby or not, but I collect batteries. It's crazy. Old batteries apparently intrique me. I can't seem to throw them away. I will carry a remote control throughout the house installing these little AA gems in every possible mathematical combination available until, oh yes, finally...the sweet red LED blinks it's surely short lived light for me. AAA, AA, C, or god-forbid toss a 9-volt (don't they automatically regenerate over time?), I can't shake the habit. If I could only find a collector on Ebay...

I used to collect pint glasses from different breweries. Sorta slowed down once I got to around 150 and ran out of room to store them.

We collect old scuba related stuff.

We are going to be turning our spare room into a scuba room using some old gear. We are going to turn regulators into curtain holders; making lamps out of old failed tanks stuff like that. We did score the rope that was used in the movie “The Abyss” from the scene where the character "Jammer" ties himself to the character "Bud" while Bud continues deeper into the wreckage of the downed Nuclear Submarine The Montana.

Willow Tree Angels here. They are so beautiful. It's amazing how much "expresion" they can show, when they don't have faces carved in them.

Collections?

Me: Old scuba gear, things I find diving (shells, wine and medicine bottles), diecast aircraft, IRL and Champcars. I'm a geologist, so LOTS of fossils (quote from the moving guy: "What, do you have rocks in these boxes or somethin'?". I wasn't tellin'.)

My boys, at 14 and 11, are avid (real) diecast collectors. Both of them have cataloged very nice collections (most NIB).

Not as bad as you might think. Always be civil when you file, be sure to live somewhere that doesn't have alimony, don't have PlatyKids and you'll be just fine.

Prior to that I collected vintage wood working / carpentry tools. I am not an active collector. I just saved and displayed some of my family heritage with my Great Grandfather's, Grandfather's, and father's tools.

I've still got a scan of the original window sticker from my last 65 Mustang. I don't have the car anymore, but it's a cool keepsake. Want a copy?

A pricey hobby...cars.
Hot Wheels would be cheaper but you can't go out and drive them on a Sunday. Fortunately the whole family is into the deal so there's safty in numbers.
Funny is in the fall when the snow is on the way we end up almost end up renting a warehouse to put them all away for a long winters nap.
