so... anyone follow this stuff? the car releases and what not in the off season? They added stuff to the cars, took off those little flaps here and there (every car had 500 small flaps last year). not every car is out yet, but there are some, and they look interesting as hell.
already released cars:
-Ferrari
-McLaren
-Renault
-Toyota
-Williams

Either way... the new stuff is here... What do you guys think?
(go to formula1.com to see the new stuff)

I'm following the AMA Supercross...what a great season so far. They don't have the high tech gear and $$$ that formula one has but those kids can wear out a dirtbike in those stadiums.

Where's Honda (hee hee)?

Honda is looking for a buyer... doubt it's gonna happen... they dont have time to put together a good 2009 package in the 65 days till the first race practice... So... looks like from 20 cars last year, to 18 this year as of right now.

looks as though the ferrari exhaust is illegal (rumors). stated to be the reason they pulled off from a common test venue to mugello.

Hoping for an exciting season and rooting for massa and kimi...

Supposedly they went to mugello for better weather(it rained there too:smiley36:) But they are the only team so far who's exhaust is coming out of the body of the car... the others are flush. Not sure if that's in the regulations. Mclaren's interim car had a weird exhaust that was deemed illegal as it added down force to the car (it was coming out under a winglet... which are no longer allowed...for 09)

This should be an exciting season, and not just the last few races or the wet ones, as redbull is promising two great cars, with at least one incredible driver (Vettel), as well as Force India with the new Mclaren power (mercedez motor, mclaren transmission) and the infinite wealth of part owner DR. VJ Mallya and his companies/primary team sponsor.
I hope for a good season for them as the man is trully passionate about the sport and his team.
