View Full Version : How To Tell If She's Got PMS ...

- She enrolls in the Lizzie Borden School of Charm.

- She buys me a new T-shirt with a "bulls eye" on the front.

- She stops reading Cosmo and starts reading Guns and Ammo.

- She denies she's in a bad mood as she pops a clip into her semi-automatic and "chambers a round."

- She buys $100 worth of chocolate and justifies it by saying "But honey, I just know it's one of the major food groups."

- When I ask her to please pass the salt at the dinner table and she says, "All I ever do is give, give, give! AM I SUPPOSED TO DO EVERYTHING?"

- She orders 3 Big Macs, 4 large fries, a bucket of Chicken McNuggets, and then mauls the manager because they're out of Diet Caffine-free Coke.

(it's a Friday - I hope this cheers those people affected by the gloom and rain and snow!!)

All it takes is 'the look'.

First clue, my PMS sense goes off. Second clue, the sound of her voice. Third clue, me diving for cover from incoming fire.

Before I got married, I thought it wasn't that bad. Now I have full on comfort plans to keep her as happy as possible.

Agreed. You have to learn to recognize "the look". It's all downhill from there.

Man, you guys are COLD. If I were a girl, I would only need people to be nice to me then and not make me cry as I will do it easily at those times.

Man, you guys are COLD. If I were a girl, I would only need people to be nice to me then and not make me cry as I will do it easily at those times.I have learned you have to be cold and calculating since the emotions that spring forth from PMS are based in hormone and often completely random. If you try to understand the emotions or react to them, you will just end up confused and yelled at. Better to just have a good relaxation plan, eliminate as many annoyances around the house as you can and shut off your reactions to her emotions so as not to take anything personal. My plan includes foot/back rub, cleaning the house clutter and a nice wine. Not that she looks forward to "that time of the month", but she certainly doesn't dread it as much either which helps shorten the craziness duration. Usually it passes without any big deal, but sometimes it hits right when something else isn't going well and those are interesting times.

Looking at your avatar, you don't look like the kind of guy who cry's much. I could be way off on this but.....:smiley29:

MEOW! :zzwhip:

My plan: Buy beer for me and put it in the garage refrigerator with the other survival supplies and then try to be away from the house as much as possible. Sometimes I take the kids for their safety!

one simple thing to consider....
She can't yell at you if there is a regulator in her mouth.

Take her diving.
Live easy.

Is this where your girlfriends grab your purse, make you put down that last cocktail (because your judgement has been seriously impared) and take you home before you make a HUGE MISTAKE?

If so, several of us will be happy to run an intervention.
