Hey guys,
A buddy and myself took our Cavern Certification this weekend at Captain John's so I thought I would report on the conditions.

Temps were about 47 deg F from the surface to 80' in the four doors cavern. No noticable thermocline this time of year.

Viz was about 10-12 feet above 30 feet, and about 5 feet from 30-80 feet.

We did 4 very enjoyable dives and I feel like we learned a lot.

Looking forward to this weekend.

Incredible News Ben!

Thanks for posting. 5 feet of viz at depth should make this a most enjoyable dive. :smilie39:

I better study up on my braille reading skills!

Wow, it is odd when Stockton Lake has better vis than the O. Oh, well. Will still be great diving!

Congrats on your cert, Ben!!

The Weather Channel is calling for a high of 49 and a 30% chance of showers. Of course, they can't tell us what it is gonna do in 3 hours with any degree of accuracy.............
