Looks like the skipper didn't heed his own advice by complaining about the food!.

A CAIRNS-BASED dive boat crew had to hog-tie a chef after he allegedly knocked out the skipper in an ugly stand-off in the Coral Sea.
The crew of the 30m boat Taka Dive had to overpower the allegedly knife-wielding cook en route to Osprey Reef, 350km off Cairns.
Passengers had just finished dinner after a night dive when the trip soured.

The 41-year-old allegedly became violent after a heated argument with the skipper about 9.30pm on Saturday, police said. The cook was hog-tied and locked in a cabin.

"The cook (allegedly) struck the skipper with his fist causing him to lose consciousness," said Cooktown police Sergeant John McArthur.

A Cairns man has been charged with assault causing bodily harm, possession of a knife and creating a public nuisance. He will face a Cooktown court on March 3.

Charging a chef with "possession of a knife" is like accusing a comedian of having a sharp tongue.

That's kinda funny... mutiny on a dive boat. I was going to try Taka Dive when I in Oz, but ended up going with Reef Encounter. Looks like Taka Dive might have been a little more exciting.;)

Hmmm...I was going to use them for my first GBR Trip.

Ironic too that he will face Cooktown court!
