I am closing up shop and heading to Joplin within the next few minutes. Several more DDCN divers are on their way as well. I think most of us will be at the Baymont this evening. We should plan a pre-get-together get-together. Anyway, looking forward to seeing everyone there!!!!

Heading to bed here in a few minutes since I'm getting up at 4:30a. Going to hit the road about 5 and meet RSmith in Sand Springs (Tulsaish) at 6a. All my stuff is packed (I hope). Just got to load it.

I'm here in 304 now. Long drive so I'll be getting some sleep soon. 5.5 hours or so, but not too bad weather wise.

I should really learn how to go to bed on time, had some good conversations downstairs, lost some sleep, now I'm up. At least there's tomorrow for sleep... Today there's diving.

I'm in Warrensburg, MO about 100 miles north of you guys. I woke up this morning to about 3 inches of snow. How is it down in Joplin?

LW and myself are back in the motel. LW is running a bit of a fever, and I didn't feel like it was a good idea to get in the water with the coughing and hacking I am still doing. I may try to make the second or third dive, but will have to see.

snagel-we don't have near that much down here. When I went outside this morning there was a very light dusting. But it continues to flurry some. Anyway, I better get busy with the shirts and getting LW into bed.

Oh No, I can't believe that LW is sick on the party day. Tell her I said I hope she feels better soon.

Hope you can get into the water DW...

I drove down there from kansas city, we got a good 4 inches up here. the roads were pretty bad going down, comeing back they were bad between Joplin and Nevada then cleared up after that.

Who'd think the only place it'd snow all day would be fricken oronogo... about a qaurter inch accumulated on my car during the dive. Couldn't keep my gear snow free no matter what I tried.

As you can tell it snowed lightly and was cold enough to freeze the water. I had just started removing my gear in the first photo, the second an third I was trying to get my daughters attention. It's so hard to capture the attention of a 6 year old.

By the way, thanks to whomever it was that helped me inside get my tanks off of me, it's sometimes awkward when you catch the exhaust valve on the harness as your sliding it off.

Thanks to all.

That was me that got your gear past the exhaust valve and I think Navy back on the tank helping with that part. cummings wife had quite a laugh when I first came in from diving. I pulled my hood off-some of my hair has apparently been outside of it and was frozen solid. Thank goodness for that stove going inside to store to help thaw a little.
