View Full Version : The Scubatoys Logo Photo Contest!

This idea was brought up by JugglingMonkeys - so he gets all the credit!

What we're looking to do here is see who has the best photo of a ScubaToys Logo on a product. We will spend the next few months giving everyone a chance to shoot some shots, then we will put them in a poll, and use a panel of judges to decide who wins.

What do they win... How about a Reefmaster Digital Camera (http://scubatoys.com/store/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=SeaLifeMiniDigitial)!

So now here are some rules... the pictures must be real. We don't want to see stuff like this:

http://www.scubatoys.com/scubatoyssub.jpg

We all have photo shop... Don't use it here.

It might be a Scubatoys Mask strap on the back of the head of a diver exiting a cave. Maybe a Scubatoys Reg bag sitting on the side of a boat in Palau. A mesh bag hanging from a tree next to a local quarry.

We will cut off the photos on November 10th and then start the deciding process, and award the prize on November 30.

Creativity might win over judges more than photographic talent... you decide, and you can enter as many as you wish.

I will sticky this thread so you can always find it at the top of this forum.

Good luck and good shooting!

cool.

My trip to bonaire is in October. Plenty of photo opportunites. Now, a willing (victim) model must be found. The boyfriend hates the camera.

Oh well, Im in the same boat. Sorta. Ive got nothing with the ST logo on it :(

You've got plenty of time to get something with the ST logo on it. The deadline for photos is November 10th! That's nearly 3 months away.

The Mayan Indians believed that the Cenotes in the region near Playa del Carmen were sacred and the passage to the underworld... The underwater archeological adventure is truly a mystical experience.

The below image captures a thrilling moment for my diva; surfacing for the first time inside an air-dome at the Chac-Mool Cenote.

Location:

N 20 30 43.6"
W 87 14 49.1"

Located in the Riviera Maya, south of Playa del Carmen, Q.R., Mexico

Here are a few entries from our recent weekend at Murray...

Okay, as you can see, there are really good reasons we need a good underwater camera. Obviously the one we're using isn't exactly producing award winning photos!

Here are a few more....

Here are my contributions. While not exactly professional, I had a blast taking these. It was a challenge and alot of fun trying to get the pirate under water.
