Wow!! Several of us dove Beaver Lake on the 4th of April and it was nice. Water temp was about 50 average and viz was 20 to 30 ft. I didnt even need a light down to 80 ft and beyond. Viz was at least 20 ft at that depth without a light. Bluffs area. Water level was up just a little (2.5ft), but no where near as bad as I expected.

I don't know... but I have dove Beaver all winter and it has not been 20-30'. Unless he found some magic spot. I was out March 22nd and it was around 10' up on the north end of the lake.

10 sounds more like the Midwest in the springtime, but we can always hope!

I'm hoping, but then one guys 30 feet is anothers 10. I hope it's better though. The real question is was it horizontal vis or vertical?

no lights down to 80 feet sounds promising. last year on memorial day at 50 feet vis opened up but it was pitch black... could see as far as my little light would show me.

We took some real clear pictures while at the lake and as soon as my Dive Buddy emails them to me I will post them so you may judge for your self.
