I know there are some tanks manufactured before 1988 that no shop in the world will touch.
I have a tank I just picked up on the cheap and it looks brand new.
I was told it was used exclusively for paintball fills and it has 1500psi still in it.
Here are the markings on the tank.
Maybe someone can help me determine if I'll have any problems getting this through hydro.

The problem is not the hydro... it's finding some place to fill it. Virtually all dive shops won't fill the E6498 tanks... I'd tell you to skip it..

What larry said.

Anything older than 1988 will have problems getting filled.

On the bright side, you could turn the tank into a nice lamp, mail box or get a few more and make some windchimes (gongs).

Keep the valve though...that's worth something
