Due to the economy I am forced to sell some gear . I have 2 PST , LP 120's that I may be selling , anybody got any Ideas on what they are worth? I'm NOT giving them away I would like a honest appraisal. The tanks only have 1 hydro other than factory, they are in perfect condition.

They have yoke valves. They also have a plus rating

I have never really looked at a LP 120 to purchase so I am not real sure on a price. Some things to consider are how old is the hydro? Just because it is in its second Hydro does not mean that it is not due in a year. If it was due soon again then that would have a small effect on the price. The Yoke valve makes it a little more difficult to sell it to the Tec crowd whom may want a huge tank to overfill. What kind of condition are they in? Are they pretty beat up or do they still look brand new inside and out?

Just a total guess on my part would be $200 - $250.

Like I said at the start I could be way off, because I have never priced them out before...

I just looked on TDS and there is a LP121 for $250. It has an original hydro of 03 current hydro of 08, Thermo Convertable DIN/Yoke valve. No mention of overall condition...

There was a LP120 sold on TDS by Jim Breslin (also a member of this board) for $235 delivered or $200 picked up. The hydro is 04-08 (original 06-95).

Not sure but I saw new PST 72's going for $125. each on eBay and that was a "Buy It Now" price with FREE shipping.

I'm not sure how they're new, that's not really possible except of course on Ebay. But, they were talking an entirely different cylinder which was the LP120 which is quite a bit larger and worth more money. The steel 72's I've seen go for much less money when you find them. I could have bought a dozen of them for $25 ea or $50 with current hydro and vis. Local dive shop sold all their old rental inventory.

200 to 250, at least in the recent past. I have seen 120's and 119's as low as 150 here in Seattle. So likely 180 to 200 at any rate.

Hmmm. Do I need/want more tanks......Is 17 really enough......Just how much more gas is it than my 104's....Is it worth it for 40cft or so.....

Few questions - what shape are they in and are you needing lots of cash or just some cash? Assuming they are in good shape, I might be willing to swap a couple 80's (luxfer 03 + 08 hydro) + some case for them.

I had a PST LP120 that I sold on E-bay.
I got $210.00 plus shipping for it.
