Today's Tip
This goes along with the beginner exercise tip of the day, and is a way for someone unsure of where to start to get an idea.

One of the easiest ways to cut down on calories and start yourself on the road to weight loss is to simply replace the carbs in one of your meals with a high fiber green vegetable. For example - if for dinner tonight you were going to have chicken and some pasta, try replacing the pasta with some brocolli or asparagus. You will add some fiber to your diet this way, you will stay full longer (less chance of snacking later), and you will cut out at least 100 calories from your daily diet. This may not sound like alot, but over time it adds up - especially if you are also adding in a 30 minute walk in the evenings (see the Fitness Tip of the Day for today).

There you have it - simple to do, easy to maintain, and effective.
