I wish the installers would hurry up with my HD but it is the beginning of football season and it seems I got in line for HD too late.

No HD here either, but I an d my family watched several episodes last night during the marathon. It's fun listening to the kids going "WOW!", "LOOK AT THAT! COOL".

Watched it last night...great show. I'd love to be involved with something like that one day. I guess a double business major might keep me from that, though...

I recently set my DVR to record all the Blue Planets that come on. I'm watching Coral Seas right now... wish it was in HD.

This is making me want to go on vacation right now. Actually, there's not much that doesn't make me want to go on vacation .

Yeah, Discovery Channel broadcasts them in HD. Different schedule than the main Discovery Channel that you get though. Its breathtaking for these type of shows.

Now all I need is a DVR that will record my HD channels. My old Tivo can't handle them.

I have yet to see it on Discovery HD in my area. Man that sucks for me. I think I will write them a strongly worded letter.

I'm with you...

They talk like it is some incredible never before seen footage of amazement and beauty. But most of the shows are a little slow... though they do show some incredible stuff they dont' stick around long enough to immerse me into it.

I have the 4 disc DVD set of 8 shows. I use the "Coral Seas" on Disc 3 in my AWARE Coral Reef Conservation Specialty class. Also make them do some reading and take a test as well as talking about coral reefs and their future, etc... PADI some specialties that anyone can take and any instructor can teach. It's one of those non-diving specialties that... well I don't want to get into a PADI bashing since I'm not sure where my position would be depending on the particular issue.

There have been such good specials on lately!! First the Planet Earth series and now this! There has been amazing footage in both series and it makes me wish I could spend even more time in the water.
