View Full Version : Nemo vs Geo

The nemo sport is a GREAT deal now but I have also researched the Oceanic Geo. Price difference only $25, so that is not the deciding factor.

I like that the Geo gives you the choice to be more conservative, but doesn't force it.

I read that the Nemo uses the (RGBM) model...isn't that the same as Suunto uses?

Reason I am wondering is because I just sold my Gekko because I do not want to end up sitting out on a liveaboard, which I hope to do soon. Any thoughts?

Nemo uses a similar RGBM variant like Suunto. If you want the option for less conservative, you want the Geo.

Since I use a Geo, I am biased towards it. I like it, it's easy to read and easy to program. The download is a great feature as well.

The Geo is a good choice.

I'll agree with the others, I love my Geo. Only complain I have is the audible alarm can be hard to hear with a hood on. Instruction manual for it can be somewhat confusing, feel free to ask around for setup help.
