The first testicular guard "cup" was used in hockey in 1874, and the first helmet was used in 1974.

It took 100 years for men to realize that the brain is also important?

In hockey, the device is not called a "cup"...it is a "can."

Furthermore, Vercingetorix has never used a "cup." Rather, he uses a whole "quart." At least that's what I read on a washroom wall in Texas.

Several of you seem to know way too much about Vercingetorix. I know we are all scuba brothers and sisters here, but I'm starting to wonder what else is going on.

And to bring it around to what the ladies find important:

American Hamilton Beach patented in 1902 the first electric vibrator available for retail sale, making the vibrator the fifth domestic appliance to be electrified, after the sewing machine, fan, tea kettle and toaster, and about a decade before the vacuum cleaner and electric iron.

LOL. But according to the history channel, the first electric vibrators were used by doctors for therapeutic reasons. They were used to treat hysteria in women, and made it easier so that their hand doesn't get tired.
