i understand the Brigade is cheaper and smaller... but other than that whats the real difference? (other than price)

I dont know of any difference except the bladder size.

so, basicly since most zeagle's have the ability to replace the bladder... and its a few hundred dollars less... there isnt much difference... makes my choice easier :) thanks!

Unless your diving doubles or doing some sort of work/rescue type diving you don't need anywhere near the 44 lbs of lift a Ranger comes with. The Stilletto is like a streamlined Ranger (alot of Drings and a much more sensible 30lb lift bladder). I would get the Brigade or Stilletto if single tank diving. The Ranger is major overkill for almost everyone.

FYI I don't believe that the brigade is eligible for the 30% off promo. That might make the decision a bit more difficult.

i got the Brigade last week... fits like a glove and wears like a backpack... one of the most comfortable BC's i have had... and i started with the horseshoe vest... actually still have it in the shed as well ad my old (80's) chrome regulator.
