My wife and another couple plan on going to Mt. Storm on November 28.
We plan on being there at noon ( my wife is working night shift).
I put the word out to our local dive club( they orginally started the idea)
I'm not sure who else from my area is planning on going yet. We liked the people that we met last time there was a big get together at the Storm.
So the more the merrier

Any ideas on conditions at the Storm?

This is the last I heard.

Mt. Storm conditions 11/14/09
Water temp 68 degress
Viz on the 25-foot platforms: about 6 feet
Viz at the 50-foot platform: about 3 feet

I might see if I can talk the wife into going up. Maybe see ya there.

We might try to head that way ourselves. The wife has just started sidemount, so were trying to get some water time. It would be good to see folks again.

Thanks for the invite, but that is the first day of rifle season in Maryland for deer. Already promised that day to my youngest son. Be safe and have fun.

I think he is really missing the great outdoors and grilling large manly burgers over a ferocious fire while fighting off hungry diving carnivores :smiley36:

We ( 4 of us ) got there at 11:45am , must have just missed Lone wolf.
Air temp was 35 ish . windy. Water was 65 according to my Edy. Vis was well... One side of a platform to the other.
Myself and my buddy and a someone else( 2 of them came around 3 something) went down the 50 ft line. Never got to the platform but my computer showed 50 ft.
Couldn't see crap( it didn't help being the last guy on the line) The one guy his computer battery died on the 50 ft line AND his analog depth gauge was stuck at zero.

Forgive me Baywatch, but your photo makes me think of "The Phantom" with the mask and hood. Sounds like some of the vis around here.

Clyde bring me a quilt!!!! my peabrain does not understand the concept of SNOW and diving...... I think I'll break out the Wii and 'Endless Ocean" for my next underwater fix.
