Hey guys got a none scuba question for cozumel. What fishing charter would you guys recommend in cozumel. Plan is stay at hotel cozumel and dive with scuba mau or aqua safari. If we are going to drop 600 bucks on a fishing trip I want to catch some BIG FISH. Plus I got to show dad why we should drop 600 bucks on a fish trip. HEck thats my fishing budget for two years. But there is not any blue marlin here.

I looked at a few online and one issue I see is cooking the fish. I read on areview one guy said that his hotel cooked there catch for them. How often is that.

yeah, most hotels probably don't have kitchens, but that would be cool. Or if you're staying in a condo would also work.

Cozumel is a small, tight community. Ask your dive op for fishing recommendations. I know when diving with Alison, her DM, Chucho always talked about fishing. I am sure they can put you on a good trip.

I asked the dive op we looking at. It is between dive paradise mainly since their at hotel cozumel or scuba mau mainly because they where recommend and after talking with them they seem to be on the ball on everything and they have FREE shore diving which hotel cozumel does not. Though whats 6 bucks a tank on a trip that at 1500 a person not including the fishing trip. Heck I could buy 6 or 7 tanks for the trip will cost. But trip to cozumel in winter PRICELESS

Fishing is great, but you will not fish where dive as it is a national park, they fish right outside of it. The DM I dive with down there will fish between dives and after on the way back in....I caught a tuna last time, also they pick up marlin, sailfish, dorado to name a few...adds to the trip for sure...BR
