I post this about once a year... so if you have already seen this, sorry!

If you are going to any of these areas:

for Cozumel: MapChick's Cozumel map and travel guide (http://www.cancunmap.com/cozumel-map.html)

for Cancun: MapChick's Cancun map and travel guide (http://www.cancunmap.com/cancun-map.html)

for Playa: MapChick's Playa del Carmen map and travel guide (http://www.cancunmap.com/playadelcarmen-map.html)

for Riviera Maya: MapChick's Riviera Maya map and travel guide (http://www.cancunmap.com/rivieramaya-map.html)

for visiting any of the Mayan Ruins on the Mainland: MapChick's Chichen Itza (Mayan Adventure) map and travel guide (http://www.cancunmap.com/chichenitza-map.html)

I do not have any financial interest in Mapchick's company, I am just a huge fan. I own all of these guides and use them. I got my first Cozumel map/guide back in 2001 after our first trip there. When I got the map I realized how helpful it would have been for us, that first trip! I wished I had learned about it sooner.

This past year we used the Mayan guide for a trip over to Chichen Itza.
My report is here: Mayan Ruins - Chichen Itza (http://www.rnrscuba.net/MayanRuins/ChichenItza_March2009.html)
there is no way I would have attempted this trip without the map! It was so critical in finding gas stations along the way, the restaurants, tollroad prices, a hotel, prices and maps of everything! In fact, now we intend to go back to the area and visit places marked on the map that we didn't even know about! We only had a day last time, next trip we plan to spend 3 days just visiting more of the ruins and the cenotes, small villages, etc.

I use these maps too Robin. Have been a fan of Laura and Perry for years. They are great maps with lots of info. Best pre- trip money I have ever spent.

I agree that Mapchick's maps/guides are good trip planning tools. We used their map for a day trip over to Isla Mujeres, which came in very handy driving around the island in a golf cart, and for the places recommended for good deals on food and drinks. Can't go wrong for the $8-10 we paid for the map/guide, which we easily saved on the cart rental and lunch for the day. :smiley20:

Just bought the two Cozumel maps. I've bought her maps in the past and well worth it.
