I've got Owens in my draft fantasy league...again. He can be great or cost you a season. I have hopes that he won't destroy me twice.

Anyway, to the immediate. Geaux Saints! 10-10 on the road. Stellar! Let's get it done!

Yeah, I have Owens as well. Here's the deal, he's in his 12th season and he still doesn't have a ring. He knows it's now or never, and he's not gonna blow it.

Besides, he and Romo had a heart to heart. Romo is looking his way on every pass play...

Love the Saints. This is a great game.

oh come on, you know college is 10x more fun, they actually play the game, instead of play the paycheck.

If you don't think college players are being payed, you are kidding yourself. Take it from me, I played college ball.

OK Jason, you post the pre-dinner pics of last year's T-day, but not post dinner pics? Come on man, what kind of reference is that.

I agree with you on Owens. I just worry that he'll melt down again. That, and I'm not convinced that Wade Phillips is a head coach in the NFL.

Damn, the Colts just scored again. 24-10...Come on Saints!

Too bad us Texans kicked your butt! I was at that game, and enjoyed it!

I thought that opener last night would take for ever to kick off. One more singer or Manning commercial and I thought I'd go postal. Fortunately, I get back early enough from DM'ing on Sunday to catch some afternoon games.

Cowboys fan here living in the Northeast. My wife is actually a Giants fan, so Sunday will be a bad day for one of us. Sucks when they play eachother twice a year, but we try to keep it fun.

I appreciate your best wishes. I am hoping my son gets on the field tonight. He is small lineman, at 5 11 160lbs. His HS team has a no cut policy, so the freshman team has 62 members and two of them are bigger than me (I'm 6'5", 300lbs), his size may hold him back for a little while but he has some speed which is unusual for hs linemen.

65 dudes? They should split that up into two teams, A and B. That's what they did in my day.

Stay strong bro. My freshman year I was 5'9" 170, and played right guard. By the time I was a senior I was 6' 260. Just give him a couple of years inthe weight room...

I have no doubt my son will sprout up, his brother is 18, college freshman but a swimmer. In Junior year he grew 6 inches, he is now 6'4" 210, both my sons expect to grow taller than me and with weight training gain the bulk not the gut I have!

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!!!??

The truck will be packed on Saturday. The ribs will be rubbed down and ready for the fire.

We'll leave the house about 7:15am....we'll be the first in line to get on the lot...I'll roll the trusty ol' Weber to our spot and fire it up.

While the ribs are cooking.....we'll set up the canopy, tables & chairs & snacks... set up the bar......make up a few Bloody Mary's and kick back and soak up the atmosphere while the ribs cook....

Thank God it's Football season!!!!

Budd, that's a texas thing. We didn't do that in NY either. Of course, my HS was the opposite, by far the smallest team, our freshman team only had about 30 guys, so many had to play both ways. Those 60+ player teams would just wear us out. Especially in the 5th quarter, to guarantee that everyone played.

Ahhhhh, makes sense. I also went to a big school, so the "talent" pool was bigger. I guess smaller schools don't have that problem.

Ravens had a piss poor start to the season, both with injuries and turnovers, then a game loosing bad call by the referee. Oh well, Jets are the next victim. Go ravens

LOL!!

You sound like all of the rest of the bitter Baltimore fans around here.

I'll grant that was a bad call, but call it like it is....the Ravens lost because of Billicks piss poor game calling.

The man insists on abandoning what works, (i.e. running the ball), in favor of calling those ridiculous pass plays. It didn't work against Indy in the playoff debacle last season, and it won't work this year. Someone needs to tell this offensive "genious" that the Ravens ain't Minnesota, and McNair isn't Randall Cunningham.....

Be that as it may.....I do believe that your Ravens will beat up on the hapless Jets.

Go Skins!!!!!
