Okay, I'm not quite that annoying monster truck announcer.....

Medicdiver and I made a trip to Oronogo on Sunday. The trip to and from was a little rough due to my truck lost it's AC...again!

The diving was pretty good though. We got 3 good dives in to the Cruiser, Dog house and computer desk (which is currently right at 135' I might add) John still didn't have the bubbler going, so the temps were definitely layered: 0'-15' the vis was a murky-milky 5' temp was around 84f. 15'-40' vis was better 10'-15' with temps of 63f. 40'-90' vis opened to about 20' and the temps were 55f. 120' the vis stayed about 20 but the temp was 51f.

Oh, I also got my gear back! :smiley20: :smiley36:

Glad to hear some people are still diving. Seems all I have done this year is work.

What the story of "getting your gear back"?

I left my hooded vest, gloves and boots at Oronogo the last time I was there. That was the actual reason to go there-to get my gera. So if I go to Oronogo, I'm going to dive. Luckily Jeff was able to go too so we got some great dives in.

CRNA and I were there last weekend. He was going to post a photo of your gear in the ST "Used Gear Forum" as a joke, but travel plans and family got in the way of the practical joke. Glad you had a great set of dives. That milky stuff is something, is it not?

I'm glad we had the chance to go. It was a great day of diving. Hopefully I'll be able to go again soon.

It's always a great dive when you get to go. It's never a wasted dive IMO as long as you have fun.

Glad to hear you got your stuff back Navy. I'll have to keep in mind the conditions there next time I bitch about temp and vis out here.

The problem is I can only use the "I left dive gear" once. :smiley36:
