I dove the Storm yesterday. 73*F at the surface, breezy and cool on the surface, pretty fair current from dam toward boat launch and 8' vis. Pretty normal stuff, have a great day.

Not a lot too see but it is a good place to stay wet and practice skills. There are two shallow platforms there that are about 25' deep, a platform at 50' and one at 90'. Lots of classes go there to do their open water checkout dives. There are other things to see there, mostly junk. The things that come to mind right away are the motorcycle, pink flamingos, type writers, microwave, computer screen, satellite dish etc. The lake is used by a power plant as a source of cooling water. As a result the water temps there are usually much higher than any other local waters. There is quite a diverse dive community that frequents these waters and people from several states and DC visit it regularly. I'm not sure exactly where Huntingdon is but there are PA divers that come. You should come to one of our cookouts next season.
