I slide off the road today, into a deep ditch and buckled the body on my jeep, not bad but you can see two small dints on the bottom under the doors on both sides. :smiley11:.

GOt to go tuesday to see if the drive train or anything else is messed up and meet with the insurance guy. They told me I should have a check then. \

Not sure what it will cost but I am sure the panels or entire body will need replaced, if they give me the option, think I will just put the cash on the loan and leave, it as it is just looks and not mechanical.

3 dam weeks and I would have been on the beach out of the snow :smiley21:

You're okay, right? Damage only to your pride? Sorry you got this.

ya I am ok, had fully coverage so at worst I get it fixed a new paint job and I am out the 500 deductible

:smiley21: Sorry, bigman!
Body work is easy, fixing a frame...the car never drives the same--unless it is a race car. :smiley5: I should know...

If there isn't frame or mechanical damage, you might not want to run it through insurance. Claims generally raise your rates for the next 3 years, so I have opted in the past to fix my own damage rather than pay more in insurance rates.

it is like 11 here, I am cleaning all my hunting stuff out for the trip to the shop tomorrow, had a local guy look at it and said the frame and everything was good, said the shake might be the alignment got knocked out. He said the could push the dents out cheap, though I think push them out means bondo, ant going there. WIll know tomorrow morning what is up, likely I will take what they give me and let my school fix it right. The rocker panels are real cheap any way
