I am a NAUI open water diver. I am about to get certified as advanced open water and rescue diver from PADI. Would I then be able to go back and become a master diver through NAUI? Sounds confusing but I am getting the advanced and rescue through my school.

Not a NAUI diver, but in a word: Yes. From those I've dove with that are NAUI Master Divers, the MD includes rescue as well so you'll be preparded for that portion. They have 8 dives required.

Straight from their web site: www.naui.org (http://www.naui.org)
( NAUI Worldwide Master Scuba Diver (http://www.naui.org/master_scuba_diver.aspx) )
