I was looking at the Poseidon Xstream and noticed there were 2 different 1st stages, a 90 version and regular.

What would be the benefits or disadvangates of either?

Thanks,
JRSM

I've looked at those a little, mainly as I dive jetstreams. For a main system, I would go with the 90 version (DIN on the side). I have a Mares ice that is a straght attachment (DIN on the bottom) that works great on a stage but stick out too far if on a tank and hits me in the head.

I'd go with:

Hmm... Good to know. I've only dived with the yoke style, and all the ones I've seen are basically the same.

Thanks!

BTW, IMHO, The Posedon regs are an excellent choice. A little pricey to start, but they last forever. I have a 15+ yo Jetstream that still works great and the service kits are still made and getting more plentiful in the US. The only thing to get used to on them is the side exhaust. Another nice thing about them is if they do free-flow, you can still breath easily as you make your ascent, there's not a massive amount of gas trying to blow into your mouth.

On 15 years? That's a virgin! My Cyklon is 33 this year, and still looks and performs like new, and I have never had an issue getting either service or parts at any time!

Thanks for your feed back. Got a really good deal on one, so I jumped on it. Now to actually get it wet!

Congrats. You may find that the side exhaust take a little getting used to but it's not bad at all, just different .
