I planning on getting a new watch http://www.scubatoys.com/store/watches/pics/StMoritzShadowWatch-sm.jpg (http://www.scubatoys.com/store/detail.asp?product_id=StMoritzShadowDiveWatch)Ahtt p://www.scubatoys.com/store/watches/pics/StMoritzShadowIICronoWatch.jpg (http://www.scubatoys.com/store/detail.asp?product_id=StMoritzShadowIICronoDiveWat ch) B

any opinions, between the two watches?

My vote is A. Reason: Simple and easy to read. Do you need the other functions of B while diving? If so.. go with B.

I don't think he said anything about diving! Everyone knows the best dive watch is a Casio G-Shock!

I'm a watch collector so I'd say go for both :D

Once modified right? I've heard of the lower end G-Shocks leaking pretty bad, but have seen some pretty slick mods to oil fill them for better depth. I do dive a higher end G-Shock sometimes that I love, but it is an analogue/digital. I prefer my watches to have hands.

As for the question in the original post, I agree that if this is only for diving K.I.S.S. and go with #1. If this is for general EDC then go with what you like. If you like the look of the chrono then I say buy it, wear the crap out of it, and dive it.

Yes the watch is for diving. I personally was leaning towards "A" but felt putting two watches up and getting pros/cons of each would help is said decision. and for sake of full disclosure. I am going to order the watch from scubatoys

I don't dive with my Omega, I just threw it up there for a laugh. As far as the watches you posted I would go with A. Keep it simple and easy to read. Although B is a good looking watch; it would be better top side. A looks like my Seiko SKXA35 only a different color.

I'd go with A. Simple is better
I'm a watch collector also, and I have about 30 different dive watches.
My Favorite is the Citizen Eco-Drive Aqualand JV0010-08E

and then the Citizen Promaster Titanium.
