That looks fun, but this is more my speed:

If you are close to the Colorado rafting sections, head that way for a fun time as well.

Eh, I'm not sure... we went up and down water just like that... :)

They could do the Class 6 stuff I imagine, but its illegal to do, at least in the Niagara...

Cool video thanks for sharing! At what frame rate were you shooting? Usually high speed frame rates will "slow down" helicopter blades like that, but nothing else seems to be affected by it. Very neat!

Been there. Done that. The video doesn't really do it justice. If you are in Niagara Falls you definitely have to give this ride a shot. There are a few companies in the area who do this. Our guide took us right into the whirl pool. We went vertical climbing back out of the thing. Had a moment where we wondered if we'd make it.

In Niagara, there's a very fine line between class 6 and class 6,000. :smiley36:

Yah... we walked through a daredevil museum, pretty neat stuff, some of it pretty insane stuff too...

its 10,000 CAD, or 25,000 US fine, depending on which side of the river you end up being rescued from! :)

The Class 6 stuff on Niagara falls into the you-are-going-to-die category IMO. Both the Colorado and Niagara have some really great rapids and are both a lot of fun. I prefer rafting versus a jet boat though. The pucker factor for me is much higher rafting even though both places have some pretty extreme conditions. I also like the worn out feeling after doing all that paddling and holding on. If you love that, give the Colorado a try if you are ever in that neck of the woods.
