Any thoughts on the Darwin Air? That's the console mounted AI version of the Darwin.

Any insight will be appreciated?

It was not the easiest to use of computers, and was a bit big for what it did. But because of that they kept dropping the pricing and they got down to darn cheap. We sold out the last that we had kicking around, but if you find one at a very cheap price, you cannot get ai at that price anywhere else. The display will be a bit smaller than say an oceanic, and don't even bother try the download, but if you want an inexpensive air integrated computer - you will probably not find anything else at the price point. Make sure you get one with a warranty, we did have a fair amount that had to go back, but if under warranty, the company will take care of it.

To get into something like an aeris you are going to be in the mid to high 5's and the darwin airs were in the 300 range.

Larry - How would you compare the Darwin Air to the Mares Airlab that ST just cleared out?
