You could also try, out of Pensacola, FL, Viking Diving Pensacola -
http://www.vikingdivingpensacola.com/

$145 per trip and there's alot of room on his deck.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Capt Tim w/ Viking is also YMCA and PADI instructor. Very nice guy that doesn't mind talking about whatever!

If your interested he will actually record your dive with his UW video camera, I believe we paid $30 for it.

Forgot to mention, he will go out with 2 divers to the Oriskany! smileys/smiley2.gif

If the History Channel is showing the sinking of The Mighty"O"
I am betting it is a must see to watch.

Thanks for the info Tah 73!

Question: Hows the reefing out of the Big "O" coming along?

I know she has not been down/sunk for that great amount of time really... May 17th of 2006

Sounds like the fishes have already started to attract to her.

Any Feedback/Comments from divers who have dove the Oriskany recently?
Thanks!

"I doubt it will ever happen as long as people are spearing on it."
What the heck! You got to be kidding me!!!

I know there are a lot of speros out there.
Come on... give the "0" a chance, then you can do your fishslaying later.

Arrrrggg!
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Man, I gotta chime in on this one. </DIV>
<DIV>I've been living here for a bit over 5 years now. I've had a hard time finding folks to dive with because all anyone wants to do is spear fish. It's pretty dissapointing when you pay money for a public charter and half the folks on the boat jump into the water with spears.</DIV>

<DIV>OK, soap box over.</DIV>
