I just placed my order at ST yesterday late afternoon and I just got my tracking... the package is on its way. Talk about fast less than 24 hrs, and, I did not even need it that fast either. One item on back order but I think its well worth the wait on that and it was to be expected (take a look if you want a nice strap http://forum.scubatoys.com/showthread.php?p=67371#post67371 )

ST Thank you for getting my package out so quickly... great job. Now, I can hardly stand the wait :smiley20: like a kid in the candy store or shall I say (scuba) toy store.

coralcrazed,

Congrats on your order, you must be psyched.:smiley32:

So if you don't mind me asking, what did you decide on? I recall you were looking for input on Oceanic regs, but can't recall the rest.

Let us know when the gear arrives. :smiley20:

Finally pulled the trigger, eh? Almost time to stop researching gear (as if that ever really stops) and get out and dive!

I haven't seen those spring straps before, they look interesting. Let us know how they work out! One tip: Be a little careful of that pull loop... I've never seen them, but at least in the picture, that looks like a weak point. I've seen people pull off the loop with straps of that design (ok, one of those people was ME once!), and I'd hate to see you break a new toy!

yah, the fin straps is the only item on back order... getting those delivered seperatly... and you helped with the choice on those big time! as for the loop. I'm assuming if its too tight or if you full back too much you could snap it. Thanks for the heads up on that. I don't thing I'll be using the straps for spear fishing though :smiley36:

I'll be sure to post feedback... did you see this thread? I started this one the other day... sort of a little back ground story to it...

YOU would have to travel back in time and sign up in the first few months ScubaToys launched this little board. :smiley5:

WE were in the right place at the right time. :smiley2:

This explains where it came from. There was a group of us that were lucky enough to find the forums when they first started and Larry hooked us up with a little recognition for being here from the very beginning....

Hey man I'm 745 posts into this thing.

I've developed some nasty typing callouses, and what I believe to be the onset of carpel tunnel syndrome....

Not to mention the pain in my wallet from being on here and seeing somebody mention a product, and thinking "Hmm, I'll just take a look at one of those" and (POOF) 3 days later the man in the brown truck is dropping it off on my desk at work...

I live in Florida and barely have a tan this year - too much time on the keyboard.

My Pops almost beat me in a round of golf last week which would've resulted in me losing $2.00, and probably required a public announcement in his eulogy that he beat me...Had it not been for a 30' chip in over a bunker (read Dumb Luck) for birdie on a par 3. My time here has caused my handicap to suffer considerably.

Being accused of surfing porn by my wife because of time spent in the computer room....The term "SCUBA Porn" has been thrown at me a lot this year.

Dammit I've suffered for this board!!!!!!

There's a lot of pressure to uphold the title of "Founding Member"....:smiley36:
