I'd like to dive the bridge at Norfork sometime. I was discussing this with my dive buddies (who have never dove the lake either) and the question came up if we would need a boat to dive the bridge.

Not really....you could park at the Henderson Boat Ramp across from th marina and follow the point towards the new bridge and you should run in to it pretty quickly in about 55-60 ft of water...haven't dove it in a couple of weeks so I am not sure where the thermocline is now but a few weeks ago it was about 6' above the railings on the bridge......This time of year I would suggest a 7mil and hood or a dry suit cause it was chilly on me down there in a 5 mil and I don't get cold easily.....You should come to the motorcyle first at the beginning of the bridge and it will be on the right if someone hasn't moved it......and if you stay away from the bottom and the railing vis is really pretty good with a good light. Let us all know how you did...

Thanks for the info. Not sure if we'll get this in yet this year, but will try.
