Question :
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>If you could dive anywhere in the World &gt;where wouldyou goand Why?</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Me: The Yongala a shipwreck in Queensland,Australia</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Why:Because of the overwhelming variety and sheer numbers of marine life. </DIV>
<DIV>Manta rays, sea snakes, octopuses, turtles, bull sharks, batfish, tiger sharks, giant queenland groupers, massive schools of barracuda, huge giant trevally, gangs of maori wrasse, clouds of fish, and spectacular coral.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>*The best way to describe it is like diving in the worlds most awesome aquarium (or) the best National Geographic/Blue Planet video that you have ever seen.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>How about You,What would be your Dream Dive?</DIV>

My dream dive? I would love to own my own liveaboard. Me and my best friend, Michael (mwhities) both Captains of the ship (100'+). Being the first to dive off of it, that would be my dream dive! =)

and I will be second... of course, that'd be bad if both captains are in the water!!!

I'm down with that too. I know he wants to go to Raja Ampat and Bora Bora. I'd love to get to Bora Bora or anywhere in that general area. Nothing but clear waters and those kick ass little huts with the glass floors smileys/smiley2.gif

I wouldn't mind having a nice big boat in the Caribbean though so I can go dive whenever and where ever

i agree with the liveaboard idea.
how sweet would it be to actually LIVE on a liveaboard all year?
my pick would be Australia's Great Barrier Reef.

Our liveaboard would travel the worlds oceans! Diving virgin wrecks would be a thing to do as well!

I really want to do a trip to Truk Lagoon. However I may put that off another year or two because of the cost ... and if that happens, I'll be going somewhere else next year. Haven't decided where yet - PnG and Solomons are the main contenders, both because of the mix of wreck &amp; reef diving opportunities. Or I could do two smaller trips, say to Vanuatu &amp; Tonga (think whale season!!). Then I could do two trips in one year, rather than just one trip.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Oh the decisions!!!</DIV>

<DIV></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>I'vegot a friend who lives over there and she was meant to do this recently, but I think her trip was postponed. Apparantly it's meant to be an excellent dive.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>I did the Brisbane over in the Sunshine Coast (Queensland, or may be NSW, can't remember!) and that was fantastic. The dive crew were brilliant, the best I've been diving with. That always makes a good dive spot a great dive trip.</DIV>

<DIV>My husband is from the Utica, NY area. In those parts you hear the name Oriskany everywhere. We both want to go and make some dives on that wreck, especially now since it's still pretty fresh. But I am the one who suggestedgetting techie enough to stand on the flight deck...husband was just thinking of diving the tower like most people do.</DIV>

<DIV>Just caught up with her and she didn't get to do it. Definately still on her list to do though. They have some great diving opportunities over there!! I was meant to go visit her this year, as I have every other year for the last couple, however I thought I'd better not so I could save for a nice dive trip next year. However then she moved up north more, to much better dive spots. Given that it's winter here a trip over there right now would have been brilliant!!</DIV>
